Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science was established in 1998. It is located in Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. MITS campus is spread over 26.17 acres of land on Madanapalle - Anantapur Highway (NH-205) near Angallu, about 10 km away from Madanapalle. MITS was started under the proactive leadership of Late Sri. N. Krishna Kumar M.S. (U.S.A), the then President and Dr. N. Vijaya Bhaskar Choudary, Ph.D., Secretary & Correspondent of the Academy. It is an autonomous institute and is recognised by UGC. It has received an A+ grade from NAAC.

MITS course list comprises various UG and PG courses. Some of the popular courses offered at Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science are B.Tech in Civil Engineering, CSE, EEE, CSE AI and ML, CSE DS, MCA and MBA. MITS admission is done on the basis of entrance exams. It accepts  AP EAPCET for B.Tech, AP ECET for B.Tech lateral entry, AP ICET for MBA and AP PGECET for M.Tech.

MITS placements 2024 final report is out. As per the report, 145 students were placed in Accenture. The total students who participated in the placement process is 1654. The total offers made were recorded as 1856. A total of 458 offers were made to the students of ECE department. 396 offers were made to the CSE department and the MBA 2024 batch received 284 offers.
